Where are you based, and what areas do you cover?
Devoted Images Photography is based in Northern New Jersey, in the USA. We are available to cover weddings and events throughout the USA, as well as throughout the whole of the UK and Republic of Ireland.
What qualifications do you have?
Background and training can provide a good foundation when it comes to wedding photography. Jennifer Wark is a graduate of both County College of Morris and Rutgers University; holding an Associate of the Fine Arts and a Bachelor of the Arts, respectively.
Who owns the copyright to my photos?
Devoted Images retains copyright to all photos taken unless expressly outlined in your contract. We do not sell full copyright to our work; however, a release to reprint may be available.
Can I print my own pictures?
We work very closely with our professional photo labs to ensure that your prints are of the highest quality, using specialised equipment and software to produce the richest and most accurate colours. Due to the work that goes into our quality assurance, it is understandable that we are picky when it comes to reproducing our work! We do not allow clients to reproduce images without a release to reprint. In the event that a client wishes to reproduce our work, we can provide the images calibrated for use in home printers and at local labs along with the necessary paperwork so that you don't violate copyright laws in the process.
Do you use film or digital?
We use the latest in digital technology to capture high-quality images; however, film can be used upon request - please contact us for details and pricing. These special art prints are hand developed and hand-printed, making them a one of a kind heirloom piece.
Where can I see a full wedding?
An important point to remember in booking a photographer is that a portfolio or single album isn't everything. You are purchasing full wedding coverage, and it is only fair that you should be able to see what you get! A full wedding is available for view to prospective clients here.
Do you charge for travel?
Prices quoted will be inclusive of travel costs.
Can you hold a date for us?
Due to the popularity of certain weekends, it is impossible to hold a date. A signed contract and retainer fee is necessary to ensure your firm booking. Dates are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is there a discount for a weekday wedding?
Devoted Images does offer a discount for weekday weddings; please contact us for further details.
What printers do you use?
In order to ensure the best quality and prices, we work with a number of local and international professional labs to provide the highest quality prints.
Do you have openings for assistants?
Currently we are not accepting applications for assistants; however, all forwarded resumes and CV's will be kept on file for future consideration should the need arise.
Can I use multiple photographers at my event?
Devoted Images is committed to providing the highest quality service and images. We do ask that no other professional photographers be contracted for your event for a number of reasons.
Do you provide videography services?
Devoted Images is dedicated to the art of still photography; however, we will be happy to provide recommendations for a professional videographer if you wish.
Can you design a website for my photos?
Yes we can! Devoted Images also provides a professional web design service to display your proofs. Your site will be unique, customized for you, and will be displayed in a password-protected area of our site.
Can you create a slideshow DVD of my photos?
Yes! We do offer DVD slideshows of your images, please contact us for further details.
Can I pay by credit card?
Devoted Images accepts payments via PayPal, and through this service we can accept credit cards.
